A One-Stop Event for New Veterans

Date: April 10, 2025 from 8:00am - 8:00pm EST

InnoVets has teamed up with a couple of fantastic organizations to provide new Veterans with all of the services they could need to be successful in their civilian careers. We invite Veterans who were discharged on or after January 1st, 2024 to drop in and get expert guidance from groups dedicated to Veterans support in areas such as career coaching, financial services, employment, education, and more.

Parking and Transportation

Please note that free parking is limited, so we recommend taking ride-share options such as Uber or Lyft. Paid parking is available at 12 Drydock Ave, Boston, MA 02210, and is about a 5 minute walk from the ECE.

The Emond Center for Engagement is also accessible via the #7 bus route from South Station, or Silver Line routes #1, #2, and #3.

Executive Office of Labor & Workforce Development

Employment

The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development will have representatives from their MassHire program, helping Vets with employment and training resources.

Benefits

Multiple programs from EOVS will be present including the Employment, Education, and Training Program, Women Veteran Network, Benefits and Annuities, Housing Resources, and more.

The amazing Nick Grace will be on site and available for complimentary headshots and portraits for Veterans to use in professional settings. If you plan to get headshots done, we recommend being mindful of what you are wearing to the Welcome Home event!

STRAC by InnoVets empowers Veteran and Gold Star Family members to start their own business by providing them with the mentorship and resources they need to thrive.

Fireproof Leaders

Career Coaching

Veterans can sign up to receive one-on-one career development coaching between 9am-3pm from Fireproof Leaders to help them translate their military experience into civilian skills. Please email mike@innovets.org for more details.
